200+ Year Old Building Gets Demolished!

It’s sad day for the city of Petersburg. Terry Ammons, a historic preservation architect, called the home likely “one of the top 10 building in ms of architectural significance. The building definitely did not stand great the past few years. "It has probably the earliest double federal parlors of any building in the South, earlier than the Governor's Mansion in Richmond,” Ammons said.

We got to watch the building come down today in all of it’s glory. Looking through the back you could only imagine how the building would’ve looked in its prime days. Check out our photos below and time lapse of the building coming down!
