Just Friends w/ Young Culture & Save Face

PHOTOS & REVIEW BY COURTNEY BREEN

On October 3rd Just Friends brought their headlining tour to Amos Southend in Charlotte, North Carolina with support from Save Face and Young Culture. The night started out with an exhilarating set from Save Face, an emo/rock band from New Jersey. With their matching red jumpsuit attire, the band put on a captivating performance that set off the night! Save Face played plenty of songs from their most recent album titled “Another Kill For The Highlight Reel” along with some throwback songs.

Following Save Face was Young culture, a pop punk band from Albany, New York. Young Culture is very well known in Charlotte, North Carolina as the whole crowd was singing along to every song they performed. They opened their set with “Holiday in Vegas” and continued to play hit after hit.

Lastly, we had the pleasure of seeing the headlining act Just Friends. Just Friends is a band that does not hold back one bit in their performance. Despite the struggles the band previously experienced leading up to this tour, they came out ready to give it their all. Just Friends put on a performance that can only be described as funky, fun, and refreshing. Each song was different and they fed off the energy of the crowd. Just Friends knows how to get a crowd involved whether they are familiar with their music or not. Just Friends just released their most recent record “Gusher” through Pure Noise Records and are currently still on tour. Check out the remaining tour dates here: https://www.jfcrewfanclub.com
