GalaxyCon Richmond 2025, held from March 27 to 30 at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, was a resounding success, attracting over 41,500 attendees. 

The convention featured an impressive lineup of celebrity guests, including William Shatner, Martin Sheen, Heather Graham, Vincent D'Onofrio, and "Weird Al" Yankovic. Fans had the opportunity to engage with these stars through panels, Q&A sessions, autograph signings, and photo opportunities.

Expanding beyond previous years, GalaxyCon introduced new attractions such as the Starbinder Bookstore, where fans met bestselling authors across genres like sci-fi, fantasy, and horror. The event also offered cosplay competitions, gaming tournaments, an artist alley, a dedicated kid's zone, and various vendors, ensuring a diverse range of activities for all attendees.

The convention's economic impact on Richmond was significant, generating an estimated $10.3 million in direct visitor spending, nearly doubling the previous year's impact. This boost benefited local hotels, restaurants, and businesses, highlighting GalaxyCon's role in promoting tourism and economic growth in the region.
